Slebech is thought to be a Viking word and is also the name of a small picturesque town in Pembrokeshire. This guy started life growing in Pembrokeshire in a small wood near to the town of Slebech hence the name.

Depicting the face of the Woodwose under the bark

This is a wall hanging piece for the home

The wire adds a contemporary link to Ivy and growth

The addition of the Algiz protection rune to offer protection to any property it hangs in
ALGIZ rune: Protection, a shield. The protective urge to shelter oneself or others. Defence, warding off of evil, shield, guardian.

He is 7" wide by 7" tall while the face is 1 1/2" long by 1 1/16" wide.

he's finished in Danish oils and dark wax. and an indoor piece only.

comments as always are welcome.
