Woodwose Planter Ornament

This chap is a planter ornament looking quite fine in his new home with my Chinese Jade succulent. He is about 7" tall with a couple of inches into the soil. I like the idea that the plant will grow around the Woodwose and give a great wild organic look.

Not sure about the cut off top; I will need to consider how I might get around that. Perhaps as the plant grows I could selectively prune to hide the top but keep the face and beard visible.

Just a thought but maybe if he was of a curved shape and not straight, he would blend into his little forest world.

Love the planter carving-what a great idea. Perhaps the top could be carves away a little so that the end grain is not seen so much.

I like this idea, and I do like to stick things in plant pots! Could the tops be rounded, like the willow brothers? or, difficult perhaps, but tapered like the old fellows have windswept hair?

Tapered and detailed 3 dimentional hair on the top.... wow might try that.
