This fella was carved recently from a beech sphaeroblast harvested from a walk off the Painswick road. Again I have tried the painted eye appraoch and from a distance this piece looks quite life like. he sits quite nicely as you see him here.
He is 4cm in radius and 4.5cm tall. the hair and beard meet up around the back of the piece as a 360 degree carving.
Available to purchase and would make a great little curio gift.
